Creative Dating for the Romantic
There are many different and creative dating ideas for hopeless romantics.
There are many traditional dates considered part of a storybook romance, such as a candlelit dinner, a foreign film or evening walks along the beach. While these dates can be amazing, there are other, slightly more creative date options for hopeless romantics.
Enjoy a decadent dessert together. Go to a popular pastry and dessert place and indulge in a dessert for two. Many bakeries of this sort have a cozy and romantic settings which allow for more intimate experiences than other restaurants. It is also, for the most part, a relatively inexpensive date as well.
Another idea is to spend an afternoon or evening on a rowboat. The serenity and beauty of the water is extremely romantic. It is important, however, to take the necessary safety precautions. Wear lifejackets and keep a radio or cell phone handy just incase something goes wrong.
Going to an amusement park may also be a date that is unconventionally romantic. It is full of thrilling rides and interactive games. Sitting in carts and seats designed for two allows for intimacy in a rather public locale. Take the time to go on a slow, relaxing ride, such as a farris wheel. If there is not an amusement park in your area, go to an arcade or miniature golf course.
Selecting a creative romantic activity is a challenging aspect of the dating process. It is important to keep in mind, however, that romance does not necessarily mean the stereotypical activities, nor does it mean that fun should be eliminated. There is probably nothing more romantic than having fun on your date.
